This release works with both SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013. It is updated with support for IE10 on Windows 8, in which the responseType must be set to get back a proper XML document from the XmlHttpRequest.

Note that the project should ONLY be built using VS 2010 against SharePoint 2010, even if deploying on SharePoint 2013. This is fully compatible with SharePoint 2013 and will continue to dpeloy the script library to /_LAYOUTS/SharePointAjaxLibrary/.

Welcome to Daniel Larson's XML/XSLT AJAX Toolkit for SharePoint.

Note: This project DOES NOT provide any support for working with the "Ajax Control Toolkit".

This is a base framework built for deploying client-side AJAX Web Parts and controls that work against web services and Xml feeds utilizing both the ASP.NET AJAX framework and JQuery.

Note that future releases will stop using the ASP.NET AJAX library, however we have not removed the dependency entirely from this codebase. The JavaScript library is not dependent on SharePoint, you could use it anywhere.

Hi all,

I have three computers which has same user data. If i write query to active directory using ldap it is searching in all computers (DC's) for users. I want it to search from two computers.

Any help is appritiated

Maybe I'm misinterpreting what this toolkit is used for - -

Before I go further, trying to address the second part, I guess it would be best to address the first part:

First off - every time I tried deploying, I got an error that it couldn't find the webpart. I notices that it was looking for a path that didn't exist in the Template section. So I fixed that and it deployed. However, every time I try to add the webpart, I get a messagebox that says "Can not import this webpart"

Second - being that it's called Sharepoint 'Ajax Toolkit' - - I was assuming that it's the SharePoint version of the ASP.net Ajax Toolkit (all the different controls) - is this correct or not?

SharePoint Ajax Library 2010 1.1 ships with NewsGator Social Sites for SharePoint 2010 1.1 release.

Included is jQuery 1.4.2 and Microsoft's AntiXSS Library. Use this library's web parts as base classes to create your own AJAX Web Parts using client side programming and REST Web Services.

You can use the scrpit library, or the AJAX Xml Web Part which just invokes the XML control. The XML Control just takes a div, an XML url, and an XSLT url.
